Wenz's Conceptual Foundation

The foundation of Wenz's golf concepts are anything but a quick band-aid that may temporality fix a swing flaw.

They ago back to the era of the great British golfer Harry Vardon (b.1870). Wenz is also influenced by Ernie Jones (b.1887), a legendary British golf instructor and Vardon contemporary.

Angel de la Torre (b.1896), a Spanish pro, a friend and colleague of Jones, was a leading proponent of Jones' teachings.

Angel's son, Manuel (b.1921), a Top 100 PGA teacher, use these concepts as the basis of his instructions.

Wenz has visited and chatted with Manuel numerous times. And, his concepts come from these legends.
